Philately Forward: FEPA's €1,000 Competition to Attract New Collectors
The Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA) launches Philately Forward — an open initiative to gather the best ideas for bringing new collectors into the world of stamp collecting.

Philately has a proud history, a global community, and a unique ability to connect people through culture, history, and storytelling. But to remain vibrant and relevant, we must continuously renew our community and attract new collectors.
Whether you are a collector, exhibitor, society member, federation representative — or simply someone with a passion for stamps — FEPA wants to hear your ideas. All submitted ideas will be reviewed by FEPA, and selected ideas will be featured on FEPA News and shared across the European philatelic community.

What Kind of Ideas?
Your idea can be big or small, digital or traditional, local or international. It could focus on:
- New innovative activities in stamp societies
- Engaging collectors online
- Re-activating former collectors
- Engaging younger audiences
- Using social media or digital tools
- New exhibition formats
- Educational initiatives
- Partnerships with schools, museums, or other communities
All ideas are welcome, and everybody is welcome: Collectors, federations, stamp societies, stamp dealers, groups of stamp friends, and you can enter as many suggestions as you would like!

The Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA) is the umbrella organisation for national philatelic federations in Europe. FEPA works to promote philately across Europe by encouraging knowledge sharing, fostering collaboration between countries, and supporting exhibitions across the continent.
